Kristeen Gracia
Kristeen Gracia started swimming competitively at a young age for San Jose Aquatics in Northern California. Her accomplishments, drive, and love for the sport inspired her first job in high school. Working with the Swim America program, she began teaching swim lessons and water safety to swimmers of all ages at her local community pools. Shortly after, she started coaching entry-level and competitive Novice level swimmers in 2006 with Monterey County Aquatics. In 2009, she took a break from coaching to pursue her college education and returned to the pool deck 3 years later. Under the management of Mark Schubert and Tracy Maurer, Kristeen began teaching private swim lessons and coaching age-group swimmers at Golden West Swim Club.. In 2016, she added high school swimming to her coaching career as Head JV coach for Ocean View High School (Golden West League Champions 2016(M/W) and 2017(M)). Kristeen is excited to join the Mission Viejo Nadadores community and is looking forward to sharing and broadening her knowledge and expertise with its swimmers and staff.
